This Black Friday Feeds will bring community together with guest facilitator Boneta-Marie Mabo, to explore abolition and Black justice at read street community space.

Boneta-Marie Mabo is a Manbarra, Meriam and Nywaigi artist, abolitionist and community worker. Her practice brings together art, activism, storytelling and community, using creativity as a way to question systems of policing, punishment and incarceration.

With more than 15 years of experience working alongside women, children and communities impacted by the criminal legal system, Boneta-Marie creates spaces for people to explore abolition through art, conversation and collective imagining; thinking not only about what we want to dismantle, but what we want to build in its place.
