We’re joining @justiceforpalestine.magandjin @bds_youth_magandjin @students4palestine_uq @students4palestine_qld on
Sunday 13 April 12-2pm, downstairs at @echoandbounce_ 596 Stanley St Woolloongabba.

The @palestinefreespeechinquiry is an opportunity to record and respond to experiences of University repression, censorship and punishment of people speaking out on Palestine.

The more we share and understand these strategies of repression, the better we can organise to resist them, whether they are used to silence anti-colonial action for Palestine, for Indigenous peoples here or other oppressed groups worldwide.

Institutional and systemic violence thrives on silence and intimidation. The process of submission-writing, especially within supportive community, is one way to make sense of our experiences of repression, improving our ability to recognise, express and counter it.

As we continue to rally and undertake direct action for Palestine, these testimonies are one way to counter narratives that aim to dehumanise and delegitimise protest against Israel’s genocide of Palestinians.
